Zee Tamil's Maari is one of the most popular soap operas in Tamil Nadu, and it even makes its way to the top rated serials from time to time. Currently it is trending on social media for unbelievable reasons. While almost all serials are finding their way to the headlines with unexpected twists and turns, the reason for Maari trending is a rather hilarious one.
The serial is being aired on Zee Tamil from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. With interesting plotlines and unexpected twists, there is no scarcity for sensation when it comes to Maari. Even though it's a remake of a Telugu serial, it would be safe to say that it has found its way to fans' hearts.
In one of the major developments of the serial, Devayani was introduced as a new character named Muthu Pechi. The serial is presently seeing some elevations as the whole family has gone on a religious trip. The serial got to its peak when the central characters Maari and Surya headed to their wedding night. In the episode aired on Tuesday, we saw Surya touching the hands of Maari. And in Thursday's episode, there was a huge time shift and Maari was shown pregnant all of a sudden.
Netizens gave a hilarious spin to the time shift and started trolling the serial for lack of enough information between what happened in the religious trip and Maari's pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Devayani made a re-entry to the small screens with Maari recently after taking a sabbatical. The series has recently completed 200 episodes and her entry further amped up the buzz around it.
Speaking of the show, she told in an interview with The Times Of India, "I am really excited to be a part of such a wonderful serial as Maari. Thank you director V Sadhasivam and Rathinam Vasudevan sir for giving me this great oppertunity, also really eager to act with such brilliant actors like Ashika Padukone, Sona Heiden, and Adarsh. And definitely, I will give my best in the show and keep supporting."
