Recently actress Sowmya recalled her harrowing experience on how she was exploited and raped by a Tamil director in the name of grooming. She raised voice amid the disturbing Hema Committee Report and revealed how she was 'groomed as a sex-slave' by the director who has shown extreme brutality towards her just for his 'entertainment'.

Actor Sowmya Accuses Tamil Director Putting Rod Inside Her Genitals

During her interview with NDTV, the actress recalled without taking the name of the director that he called her his daughter in front of his wife, but later 'forced himself' on her. She recalled, "One fine day, when his wife wasn't around, this man, while calling me his daughter, kissed me. I completely froze. I was so desperate to tell my friends but couldn't... I was ashamed, thinking I had done something wrong and that I was obligated to be nice to this man..."

Accusing him of raping her, Sowmya said, "So I continued going for practice, for dance rehearsals... every day I went back and gradually, step by step, this man completely used my body to his advantage. At some point he forced himself on me... so he raped me. This went on for close to a year while I was in college."

In the same interview, she also claimed how the director had inserted a rod into her genitals for his 'entertainment', saying, "He messed with my mind," she said, further adding that it took her 30 years to heal from the trauma.
