Amaran Box Office Collection Day 17 Prediction: Sivakarthikeyan did it. The young actor-filmmaker became one of the top league actors with his latest biographical action drama titled 'Amaran,' directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Starring Sai Pallavi as the female lead, the movie based on the life of the late Maj Mukund Varadarajan is going great guns even after two weeks at the box office from its release on October 31. In its third week, the movie soared owing to less competition and surpassed Rs 175 Crore in India with the worldwide collection about to touch Rs 300 Crore.

Along with Sivakarthikeyan who plays the role of Major Mukund 'Maddy' Varadarajan, the movie stars Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Mukund's wife, Bhuvan Arora as Vikram Singh, Rahul Bose as Colonel Amit Singh Dabas, Lallu as Ravi Shankar, Shreekumar as Michael, Shyam Mohan as Indhu's brother, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salmaan, and Gaurav Venkatesh among others in key roles.
