The film, which was initially set to stream 28 days after its theatrical release, is now seeing a delay due to its phenomenal success at the box office. In an unprecedented move for a Tamil film, Netflix has decided to push back the OTT streaming date, reflecting the movie's continued strong performance in theaters. This marks a significant milestone in the Tamil film industry, highlighting Amaran's massive popularity and its impressive box office run.

The film features Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund 'Maddy' Varadarajan, with Sai Pallavi portraying Indhu Rebecca Varghese, his wife.
