Amaran OTT Rights Deal Signed: THIS OTT Giant Buys Sivakarthikeyan & Sai Pallavi's Upcoming Actioner

Amaran OTT Rights Sold: Kollywood's rising superstar Sivakarthikeyan is going to hit the screens with his latest biographical war action drama titled 'Amaran,' in which Sai Pallavi is the female lead. Based on 'India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military' written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, the movie was directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.

Kamal Haasan bankrolled the movie under his production banner Raaj Kamal Films in association with Sony Pictures Films India on a budget of about Rs 200 Crore. Amaran is going to be released in several languages on October 31. The makers of the film have intensified the promotional activity for Amaran and the movie finished its censor formalities with its runtime locked. The theatrical trailer of Amaran was released on October 23 to a positive response. Check it out below.

Amaran Digital Streaming Rights Secured By..
The action war drama's celluloid depiction excited the fans of Sivakarthikeyan as it was his first time showcasing a full-length action role. Owing to the great pre-release buzz the movie Amaran is enjoying, the makers of the film have closed the digital streaming rights deal with a leading OTT platform.

It is learned that Netflix purchased the streaming rights of all available languages for a decent sum. The deal was lucrative, we hear. More details are awaited, however.

Along with Sivakarthikeyan who plays the role of Major Mukund 'Maddy' Varadarajan, the movie stars Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Mukund's wife, Bhuvan Arora as Vikram Singh, Rahul Bose as Colonel Amit Singh Dabas, Lallu as Ravi Shankar, Shreekumar as Michael, Shyam Mohan as Indhu's brother, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salmaan, and Gaurav Venkatesh among others in key roles.

The movie was produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran, and Vivek Krishnani jointly under the Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India banners. Red Giant Movies is distributing the movie. Ch. Sai worked as the cinematographer and R. Kalaivanan was the editor of the film. G.V. Prakash Kumar scored the movie's entire music and tunes.
