As the speculations have been rife about who will be hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 8, it is reported that Vijay Sethupathi is likely to get into Kamal Haasan's shoes as the new host of the popular reality show. According to a report published in the Times of India, renowned producer Ravindar Chandresekaran is rumoured to be entering Bigg Boss Tamil 8 as a contestant. To note, Ravindar is the founder of Libra Productions and has produced several films like Sutta Kadhai (2013), Nalanum Nandhiniyum (2014), and Murungaikai Chips (2021). He also made headlines for tying the knot with renowned television actress Mahalakshmi in September 2022.

On the other hand, Dr Diwagar who has been a renowned social media influencer and has managed to win millions of hearts with his acting and other videos on social media.

Meanwhile, the media reports also suggest that the makers are shooting for the first promo of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 in Puducherry. While the new season is likely to air in the first or second week of October, the first promo of the show is expected to be out in the first half of September.
