With just a couple of hours ahead of the grand premiere, the eighth season of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 - hosted by Vijay Sethupathi - has already become the talk-of-the-town. After legendary actor Kamal Haasan stepped down as Bigg Boss Tamil 8 host due to prior work commitments, Vijay Sethupathi came on board as the new anchor. Amid much anticipation, Bigg Boss Tamil 8 is all set for its grand launch tomorrow (6th October) at 6 pm only on Vijay Television.
The weekly episodes of BB Tamil 8 will reportedly air on Vijay TV at 9:30 pm.

While the makers of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 is yet to officially announce the confirmed contestants list, speculations are rife that popular south Indian actor Babloo Prithveeraj is rumoured to participate in Vijay Sethupathi-hosted show.
The 58-year old actor, who has predominantly worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, gained widespread recognition for his performances in films like 'Ticket', 'Marshal', and 'Pelli' to name a few. The actor made his Bollywood debut in Ranbir Kapoor's blockbuster film 'Animal'.
Babloo Prithveeraj Biography, Career & More
Born on 18th July 1966, Prithveeraj made his acting debut as a child artist in the 1971 Tamil film 'Naangu Suvargal' under the stage name 'Babloo'. In 1997, he won the Nandi Award for Best Villain in 'Pelli'. Besides films, he also appeared in tv serials, reality shows and also hosted shows.
Last year, Babloo Prithviraj forayed into Bollywood and played the negative character 'Asrar Haque' in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal', hosted by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
He got married to his wife (now-ex) Beena in 1994. They have a son named Ahed Mohan Jabbar. Reportedly, the duo got officially divorced in 2022 after being separated for 6 years.
