Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, the superstar revealed that he will not be able to host Bigg Boss Tamil 8 owing to his prior work commitments. As Kamal Haasan's decision to quit Bigg Boss Tamil 8 came as a shock to fans, it is reported that Vijay Sethupathi is likely to replace the Kalki 2898 AD star as the new host of the show.

On the other hand, several names have been doing the rounds about the contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil 8. Amid this, it is reported that Shalin Zoya is likely to be the first contestant of the show. To note, Shaalin Zoya who is known for her performance as Deepa Rani in Autograph and as Jessy in Elsamma Enna Aankutty. She also grabbed eyeballs with her stint in Cooku With Comali 5.According to a report published in Tamil Samayam, Shaalin will surely be entering the Bigg Boss house this year. However, Shaalin seems to have dismissed the reports with a quirky response.
