After announcing his departure as Ezhihal in Baakiyalakshmi, VJ Vishal has been making headlines. The Vishal started his career as VJ later rose to fame in television too. Especially his role as Ezhihal garnered all the limelight on him and solidified his career as an actor. Other than this, he has also appeared in the comedy cooking show, Cooku with Comali season 4. He also co-hosted the reality show Ready Steady Po. Furthermore, he also has worked as an assistant director in Kalakkal Champions and Athu Ithu Yethu.

On the personal front, VJ Vishal was born in 1996 in Coimbatore. He did his schooling at Meiyappan Matriculation Elevated Secondary School then did BE from Anna University in Chennai. The television star is unmarried as of now.
