In fact, the makers even unveiled a new promo of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 introducing Vijay Sethupathi as the new host.

As Vijay Sethupathi is set to take over Bigg Boss Tamil 8, there have been speculations about how much he will be charging for hosting the new season of the popular reality show. According to a report published in Tamil One India, Vijay Sethupathi is charging Rs 50 crores to host Bigg Boss Tamil 8. Interestingly, this happens to be less than half of Kamal Haasan's fees for Bigg Boss Tamil 7. To note, Kamal Haasan had reportedly charged Rs 120 crores for Bigg Boss Tamil 7.

Bigg Boss Tamil 7 Premiere Date & Theme

According to media reports, Bigg Boss Tamil 8 will be going on air on October 13 on Vijay Television and Disney+ Hotstar. The show will be having the same two house theme as the previous season. However, it is reported that some former contestants will also be entering Bigg Boss Tamil 8 as contestants and will be competing for the winner's trophy.
