Riya is a model who was the second runner up in Miss Chennai 2023. She is also a social media star and has been following Bigg Boss Tamil 8 quite ardently along with sharing her views on social media.

Ever since Riya's name emerged as a wild card contestant, she has been confused with VJ Vishal's ex-girlfriend Riya Vishwanathan who was seen in Raja Rani 2 and Sandakozhi. While her relationship with VJ Vishal, a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil 8, made headlines, they had called off their relationship in 2022.
