Kavin is a promising youngster, an actor who carved a niche and image for himself in the Tamil film industry (Kollywood) by gradually building his acting career. From a television actor to side-kick and now playing prominent roles, Kavin had come a long way. The actor also tied the knot with his lady love recently.

The 33-year-old actor also had a successful Bigg Boss Tamil stint when he took part in the reality show's season 3, in 2019. The journey in the entertainment industry began for Kavin when he auditioned for acting with Star Vijay TV channel. His acting debut was with Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, a serial. Kavin got his first breakthrough by playing Vettaiyan in a TV serial titled Saravanan Meenatchi. He also bagged the Vijay Television Awards for Favourite Actor Male in the year 2015. Later on, Kavin appeared in the movies such as Lift and Dada, where he played prominent characters.

Not many know that Kavin played small roles in films like Pizza, Karthik Subbaraj's horror thriller, and Indru Netru Naalai before S.R Prabhakaran's Sathriyan in 2017.

Kavin To Play The Lead Role In Sundar C's Next?

Coming to the latest rumour about Kavin taking the plunge by playing the lead role in none other than actor, writer, director, and producer Sundar C's upcoming film, there is a piece of clarity. Reportedly, Kavin is not going to play the lead role in Sundar C's film. Check out the tweet below.

There's a news speculating on Social Media stating that actor Kavin is all set to play the lead in Sundar C's next directorial. When I checked with the director, he denied saying that it's untrue.

On the other hand, Kavin's upcoming and interesting projects include the movie titled Star. In this movie, Kavin is playing the lead role and it is in the post-production phase. Star is written and directed by Elan and is produced under the Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banners jointly. The second is titled 'Kiss,' which is currently on the sets.
