Brother OTT Release: The Tamil comedy-drama Brother, directed by M. Rajesh and produced by Sundar Arumugam, made its theatrical debut on October 31, 2024, coinciding with the Diwali festivities. Starring Jayam Ravi and Priyanka Mohan in the lead roles, the film generated immense anticipation since its announcement in August 2022 under the working title "JR 30."

The project, officially titled Brother in September 2023, began filming in August 2022, with the majority of the shoot taking place in Chennai. Production wrapped up in early 2024, with Harris Jayaraj composing the music, Vivekanand Santhosham handling the cinematography, and Ashish Joseph overseeing the editing.

Brother Synopsis

Karthik, a rebellious law school dropout, struggles to find stability while causing turmoil in his family. Sent to Ooty by his sister Anandhi, he faces job setbacks and conflicts with his in-laws. Eventually, Karthik's actions lead to a transformation, earning his father-in-law's acceptance and resolving his family's tensions.
