The movie is a sequel to the acclaimed 'Demonte Colony' which was released in 2015. The sequel was released on August 15 and features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead.

In the supernatural horror film, Arulnithi is reprising his role as Srinivasan with an addition of the new cast.
