Demonte Colony 2 OTT Release Date & Platform: Co-written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, Arulnithi-starrer 'Demonte Colony 2' is the latest film made as a sequel to the critically acclaimed 'Demonte Colony' which was released in 2015. The sequel was released on August 15 and features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead.

In the supernatural horror film, Arulnithi is reprising his role as Srinivasan with an addition of the new cast. After the release which coincided with Vikram's 'Thangalaan,' and 'Raghu Thatha,' the Demonte Colony 2 movie is gaining buzz and positive response. The movie was supposed to be directed by Venky Venugopal but R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, who helmed 'Cobra' with Vikram earlier took the director's chair with Venugopal working on the story for the sequel. The movie was supposed to be released in September of 2023 but was postponed due to several reasons.

The supernatural horror film's digital streaming rights are secured for a decent amount by Tentkotta, a pioneering digital streaming app for Tamil films. The movie will likely hit the OTT platform sometime around September last week or probably before. The official date of streaming will be announced once the movie completes its successful theatrical run.

The movie was edited by Kumaresh D and Harish Kannan cranked the camera. Sam C.S. composed the film's entire music and background score.
