Dhanush And Aishwarya Rajinikanth Officially Divorced: Actor-director Dhanush and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth have officially finalized their divorce. According to reports, the Chennai Family Court granted the divorce on Wednesday, November 27, marking the end of their 18-year marriage. The couple, who share two sons, Yatra and Linga, reportedly decided to part ways due to irreconcilable differences.

Earlier this year, Dhanush and Aishwarya sought a divorce after publicly announcing their separation in January 2022. Although they missed court hearings on three separate occasions, both were present for the in-camera proceedings on November 21, 2024. As per reports, during the proceedings, Family Court Judge Subhadevi inquired about their decision, and after confirming their desire to part ways, the judge had declared that the final verdict would be announced on November 27.

The couple married in a lavish ceremony in 2004, which was attended by prominent figures from both the film industry and political circles. Aishwarya, the daughter of superstar Rajinikanth and his wife Latha, and Dhanush, the son of director Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi, were a power couple in the Tamil film industry.

Despite their separation, both Dhanush and Aishwarya continue to co-parent their children, ensuring their well-being and support.
