GOAT Box Office Collection 2nd Weekend: Vijay Thalapathy's GOAT is already making the headlines ever since it was released on September 5. The movie, which is the penultimate film of the superstar is already embraced by his fans and well wishers. Although the movie had an excellent start at the box office on its day 1, the collection starts to fall significantly from day 2. However, it surpassed all the barriers and saw an increase by 100% on its second weekend compared to its second Friday.

The Vijay Thalapathy starrer has been successfully going on the box office and it minted Rs. 27.75 Cr in second weekend according to the early estimates. It earned around Rs. 13.50 Cr on its second saturday which means the movie saw an increase in the collection by 100% compared to its second Friday when it earned Rs. 6.75 Cr. On second saturday, the movie collected Rs. 12.70 Cr from Tamil segment, Hindi segment earned 65 lakhs and Telugu section minted 15 lakh only.
On its second Sunday, the movie collected Rs. 14.25 Cr according to the early estimates. Now, comparing it to the first Saturday and first Sunday, the movie minted Rs. 33.5 Cr and Rs. 34 Cr respectively. The total India nett collection of the movie now stands at Rs. 212.50 Cr. Furthermore, the movie had 59.99% Tamil occupancy on Sunday, September 15.
For the unversed, the movie is bankrolled by AGS entertainment and directed by Venkat Prabhu. It also stars big stars like Prabhu Deva, Prasanth, Vijay Chandrasekhar, Ajmal Ameer, and Meenakshii Chaudhary, Yogi Babu among others.
