The Venkat Prabhu directorial happens to be Thalapathy Vijay's first release of the year and also marks the superstar's penultimate film ahead of his political debut. According to a report published in Sacnilk, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) made a collection of Rs 24.5 crores from the advance booking. Talking about the opening day collection, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), which was released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, failed to touch Rs 50 crores mark on the opening day. The movie raked in Rs 43 crores on opening day (Res 38.3 crores in Tamil, Rs 1.7 crores in Hindi and Rs 3 crores in Telugu).

Interestingly, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) has failed to beat the opening day collection of Thalapathy Vijay's 2023 release Leo with a massive gap. For the uninitiated, Leo, which was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages, minted Rs 64.8 crores (including Rs 48.96 crores in Tamil, Rs 12.9 crores in Telugu, Rs 2.8 crores in Hindi and Rs 14 lakhs in Kannada). It will be interesting to see if The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) will be able to surpass Leo's collections in the coming days.
For the uninitiated, Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) revolves around a man named Gandhi who happens to be the former leader of a special anti-terrorist squad. He will be seen reconciling with his squad members to resolve the issues stemmed from their previous actions.
