In the movie, we will see Vijay playing the dual role, indeed promising to bring the dual drama on the screen. Recently, there has been an update in GOAT's right. According to the reports both theatrical and OTT rights have finally been acquired. GOAT is considered to be an important movie in Vijay's career as it is speculated to be one of his last films.

According to Movie Tamil's reports, GOAT's theatrical rights has been acquired by Raahul's Romeo Pictures. Reportedly, he bought the movie GOAT for Rs. 70 Crores.

According to the reports, ZEE has bought the OTT rights of GOAT. To note, GOAT is slated to release in several languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi.

GOAT Release Date

Featuring Vijay in the lead role, GOAT is scheduled to release in theaters on September 5, 2024. The movie will also star Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. GOAT is directed and co-written by Venkat Prabhu. The movie is being produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh. Vijay will be playing the dual role, a father and a son, in the upcoming film GOAT. The storyline is based on the time travle, connecting people to the present time and 2050. GOAT is originally a Tamil language film but it will also be released in several other languages.
