Thalapathy Vijay's latest espionage sci-fi action-thriller written and directed by Venkat Prabhu opened amid sky-high expectations and record-breaking advance sales on September 5 worldwide. The movie is earning a thumping response at the box office.

While the fans are celebrating and surprised over Venkat Prabhu's excellent depiction of Thalapathy Vijay and his characterization, there are exciting reports coming for the film from overseas, Tamil, and Telugu centres. GOAT Synopsis

Gandhi (Vijay) is a successful member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS) and is known for his terrorist mission in Kenya, under the leadership of Menon (Mohan). While in Bangkok, Gandhi finds out that his son Jeevan (Vijay) is dead and years later is shocked to see Jeevan alive and kicking in Russia. After they come home, unusual events start to take place forcing Gandhi to uncover the truth behind Jeevan's disappearance and reappearance.

From the mass sightings of the legendary MS Dhoni, where the entire theatre erupted into a celebratory cheer all over the Tamil Nadu, to Trisha's scintillating dance movements and Sivakarthikeyan's surprising cameo, the movie is filled with epic moments for the fans to get a full high. The special reference to Thala Ajith is a special high for both the actor's fans who are thrilled. In addition, there is also a reference of Suriya's Kanguva where Vijay phone's wallpaper has a picture of it. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu packed a punch with a fully loaded mass action entertainer in a sci-fi and thriller backdrop.
