Is There A Third Person Behind Jayam Ravi & Aarti's Divorce? Jayam Ravi finally confirmed his separation from his wife Aarti, with whom he was together in the wedlock for about 15 years. Jayam Ravi and Aarti have been married since 2009. They have two sons. Theirs is a love marriage and the duo looked always in love, going on vacations and having each other's back, going by their public appearances and social media handles. Suddenly, there are rumours about their wedding hitting rock bottom.

The rumours about their split surfaced again on June 25 as enthusiastic netizens and fans spotted that Aarti had allegedly deleted all of her pictures with her husband Jayam Ravi, on her Instagram profile. Amid the divorce buzz, here is a throwback to the days when Jayam Ravi and Aarti had openly spoken about their love story and marriage.

In an interview with Galatta Media, the couple spoke at length about their personal lives and interests. In response to a picture displayed on the show from their wedding ceremony, Aarti said, "It's a special moment in our life. We waited for a long time for that day, we got permission from our parents and there was a huge process. So, this moment is very very special." She further added, "I was very happy that I was getting married."

Jayam Ravi elaborated, "We have only taken many U-turns because I was a celebrity if we go somewhere, they will take pictures and we hadn't made our love public or broken the news to our parents at that time, so.." Aarti finished his words by continuing, "Our entire dating was in a car and after an extent, we can't go, so, we will keep taking U-turns. On the first day, he came in a friend's car."

Is Sujata's Stepson A Reason?

Jayam Ravi and Aarti have never spoken a word about their split. They are very reserved and apart from Jayam Ravi's statement, there is nothing much to draw from their relationship status and the cause for the rift. However, a few YouTubers and people close to the couple have come up with various theories.

A journalist called Sabita Joseph spoke to a YouTube channel, and she explained the reason for their divorce. She reportedly said that Aarti's mother Sujata has an adopted son named Shankar and Sujata's production company is managed by him. In a recent shooting that involved Jayam Ravi, Sujata had reportedly paid heed to Shankar and ordered Ravi to act accordingly.

In another instance, in an interview given by Bailwan Ranganathan, in which he played the mother-in-law of Ravi, he revealed that Ravi asked for a salary of Rs 25 Crore for his next remuneration for Pandiraj's film.

Sujata had reportedly pressured the director to reduce the film's budget as her mother-in-law mentioned that Ravi doesn't have that market. Pandiraj left the project and an upset Ravi fought with his wife.
