Kanguva Climax: The Tamil epic fantasy action film Kanguva, directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, was released worldwide on November 14, 2024. The movie features Suriya in dual roles, with a stellar cast that includes Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, and K. S. Ravikumar. It is available in standard, 3D, and IMAX formats.

According to film industry tracker Amutha Bharathi, Kanguva has created a massive buzz in theaters, particularly with the highly anticipated reveal of Suriya's six-pack abs in the climax. Additionally, the surprise cameo by a prominent actor has further heightened excitement, leaving audiences thrilled. These sensational moments are expected to significantly boost Kanguva's popularity and ensure a memorable theatrical experience for fans.

Kanguva Cast and Crew

Kanguva, initially announced in April 2019, faced several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other scheduling challenges before production resumed in August 2022. Filmed in stunning locations across Chennai, Goa, Kerala, Kodaikanal, and Rajahmundry, the movie completed its 17-month shoot in January 2024. With a budget estimated between ₹300 to ₹350 crore, it stands as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The technical team behind the film includes composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, and editor Nishadh Yusuf.

The film stars Suriya in dual roles as Kanguva and Francis Theodore, with Bobby Deol portraying the villain Udhiran and Disha Patani as Angelina. The supporting cast features Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu as Colt 95, Redin Kingsley as Accelerator, and Kovai Sarala, along with other notable actors such as Mansoor Ali Khan, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Karunas, and many more. Additionally, composer Anirudh Ravichander makes a special cameo appearance as a dancer in the song "Yolo."

Directed by Siva, Kanguva was written by Siva, Adhi Narayana, and Madhan Karky, who also contributed the dialogues. Produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V.
