Kanguva Release Postponed For Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan: Suriya's upcoming period action drama titled 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva is one of Kollywood's most exciting and awaited movies of 2024. The hype and anticipation around the thriller are beyond comprehension and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the most out of the opportunity to make Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga, a remarkable hit.

Superstar Rajinikanth's exciting collaboration with the maverick filmmaker T.J. Gnanavel titled 'Vettaiyan' featuring a stellar cast in the form of Fahadh Faasil, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rana Daggubati among others is also a hyped project that is going to hit the screens this year.

At first, Kanguva was announced for the October 10 release but Vettaiyan also was announced later for the same-day theatrical release. Things got intense when the two highly-awaited star hero films with immense buzz came together. Suriya About Kanguva Postponement

Finally, the buzz about Suriya's Kanguva getting postponed turned out to be true. The actor himself confirmed that they are willing to give way to the superstar Rajinikanth given his towering personality in Kollywood and India. The 'Singham' actor spoke at the audio release event of Karthi's upcoming film 'Meiyazhagan.'

On the occasion, Suriya was quoted saying, "It wouldn't be ideal to release both the films on the same day. Kanguva is a child with numerous individuals investing their sweat, tears, and blood into its creation. I hope fans will understand the reasons behind the decision and continue their unwavering support to the time it hits the theatres. " The new release date for Kanguva will be discussed and announced shortly.
