Kanguva: Suriya To Surprise His Fans With A Glimpse Of His Epic 'Rolex' In Siruthai Siva's Period Actioner?

Suriya's 'Rolex' In Kanguva? One of the hyped films releasing this year is Suriya's high-budget and mega-periodic actioner titled 'Kanguva.' Written and directed by Siruthai Siva, the movie is going to be released worldwide in five languages on October 10.

With Kanguva's Glimpse winning every enthusiastic film buff, the makers of this action thriller are currently involved in the post-production works. The movie stars Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, and others in pivotal roles. Kanugva also will be released in three formats including 3D and IMAX.

Kanguva Premise
Kanguva is the story of a warrior who lived in 1678 and died due to a disease. In today's world, a girl is actively researching the disease that killed the warrior of the 16th century.

Kanguva Part 2 on Cards
One of the producers of Suriya's Kanguva, KE Gnanavel Raja of the Studio Green banner recently confirmed that Kanguva will have a sequel. At an event, he said, "We wrote the story for part 1 and part 2. We finished the first part. We have yet to begin production of the sequel. We took 185 days to complete the shoot of Kanguva 1. The second part will start at the end of 2025 or early 2026. We are planning to release Kanguva 2 in 2027 January or Summer."

He also added, "If part 1 is staged neatly, part 2 will be received like anything. We have something exciting for the audience at the end of the first part to hook them for the sequel."

Rolex In Kanguva?

According to the latest buzz and an exclusive input of M9 news, Suriya's much-loved and hyped character 'Rolex' which was part of Lokesh Kanagaraj-Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' and the LCU, will be part of Kanguva. Although there is not much information on the same, it is rumoured that Suriya is going to surprise his fans in the theatres.

This Suriya film stars Bollywood actor Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravi Kumar, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and BS Avinash among other in pivotal characters.

The movie is a joint production venture of KE Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati of the Studio Green and UV Creations banners. The movie's cinematography is handled by Vetri Palanisamy and Nishadh Yusuf is working as its editor. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film's entire soundtrack including background score and tunes.
