Kanguva Worldwide Box Office Day 1 Trade Expert Prediction: If you are a fan of action films, then ace filmmaker Siva is coming with a special treat for you with his recent directorial Kanguva. The movie happens to be an fantasy action film which is apparently set in the medieval era. Kanguva features Suriya in a double role of Kanguva and Francis Theodore along with Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. Besides, it stars Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar in supporting roles.

Interestingly, Bobby Deol, who is making his debut in the Tamil industry, is seen playing the role of lead antagonist Udhiran while Disha Patani is seen as Angeline. The trailer has managed to create a massive buzz in the town as fans are quite excited to see a thrilling face off between Suriya and Bobby Deol for the first time on the big screen. Besides, their respective looks in Kanguva have also managed to intrigue the audience in India and across the world.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated that Kanguva is off to a good start globally. "Globally it has already done advances of Rs 15 crores so far and still counting which is a very good sign," he added. He also mentioned that Kanguva is expected to mint Rs 20 crores in the overseas market on the opening day and will rake in an opening day collection of Rs 70-75 crores on the opening day.

Will Kanguva Beat Vettaiyan On The Opening Day?

Interestingly, with a grand opening at the worldwide, comparisons are being drawn between Kanguva and Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan. To note, Vettaiyan had reportedly minted Rs 70 crores on the day of release at the worldwide box office. If the reports turned out to be true, Kanguva is expected to beat Vettaiyan on the first day.

Meanwhile, Bobby Deol is quite excited about Kanguva and his Tamil debut. In fact, he was all praises for Suriya and told Gulf News, "I am his big fan, and he's such a sweetheart. He's an amazing person. The best part was being on this set surrounded by a down-to-earth and humble director, cast, and crew. I never felt out of place because they made me feel comfortable".
