South India's popular actress Meena is back in the headlines once again for news about her impending and rumoured second marriage. The senior actress who has been actively involved in projects of late is continuing to face questions about being single, second marriage, and her husband's death.

In a recent interview with a popular YouTube channel, Meena spoke at length about her glorious acting career and her personal life. Facing questions about the rumours around her second marriage after the unfortunate death of her husband, Meena once again tried to openly share her views about the same.

She said, "If a hero is single, there are no rumours about his second marriage. If an actress is single for losing her husband, there are so many. In my case, these started immediately within two months after my husband's tragic death. So many people are single and alone. I live with my daughter, mother, and mother-in-law. Families are involved and it is not right for the media to write whatever they want to." She even recollected a baseless gossip that she was linked to actor Dhanush, during the interview.

Answering another question about her willingness to re-marry, Meena said, "I have no idea. All my attention is now on my daughter Nainika. I want to do everything for her. In addition, I also have the responsibility of my mother and mother-in-law. More than I am, there seem to be many people who are concerned about my second marriage."

Meena married Vidya Sagar, a software engineer from Bengaluru in 2009 after her career as a lead actress took a sideline. Due to Lung failure caused by a severe infection, Sagar passed away in June 2022. They were married for 13 years and Nainika is their only child.

Meena is now part of several Tamil and Telugu reality shows as a judge and is also playing different kinds of roles in Tamil and Telugu films opposite senior heroes. Her daughter Nainika was also seen in Theri opposite Thalapathy Vijay.
