Meiyazhagan OTT Release Date, Platform, & Time: Karthi's 27th film is the latest slice-of-life emotional drama written and directed by C. Prem Kumar. Titled Meiyazhagan, the movie is one of the most loved films of the year in Kollywood. It was released on September 27 worldwide to highly positive reviews in Tamil. The movie was immediately released in Telugu as 'Sathyam Sundaram' a day later due to Jr NTR's Devara release. In Tamil and Telugu, the movie won critical and commercial acclaim. Made on a humble budget by Suriya and Jyothika under their 2D Entertainment banner, this simple drama earned about Rs 52 Crore worldwide. Meiyazhagan Synopsis
The movie is set in 1996. Arunmozhi Varman (Arvind Swami) was forced to leave his family house in Thanjavur along with his parents owing to a few problems. After 20 years, Arun returns to Guntur to attend his cousin's wedding and meets Meiyazhagan (Karthi). Eventually, he strikes a chord with Meiyazhagan but can't recognize who Sundaram is. Sathyam returns to Vizag and tries to discover Sundaram's identity.
