Nayanthara Taking A Dig At Dhanush: There has been a dispute going on between Nayanthara and Dhanush. Dhanush filed a lawsuit against Nayanthara as she and her husband Vignesh Shivan used a clip in the recently released Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. Nayanthara claimed that Dhanush was not granting NOC for the clip and later sent a legal notice to the actress demanding Rs. 10 Crore for the use of a 3-second clip from their movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Nayanthara took to her Instagram on Friday to reshare a post. The post said, "Karma Says!! When you destroy someone's life with lies Take it as a loan it will come back to you with interest." (sic) Nayanthara highlighted "Take it as a loan" part. Many believed that the actress was indirectly hinting towards Dhanush.

The post came after Dhanush filed a lawsuit against Nayanthara. The legal battle started as Nayanthara used a clip from the movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her recently released documentary. The case was to be heard on November 27, 2024 in the Madras High Court.

In the recent development, Nayanthara's lawyer replied, "Our response is that there is no infringement or violation because what has been utilised by us in the docu series is not part of behind-the-scenes (from the film). The same is part of personal library, Therefore this is not infringement." Rahul Dhawan who is representing Nayanthara revealed that the next hearing is expected on Monday.
