On Saturday (March 2), Reddit users noticed that Nayanthara had 'unfollowed' her husband Vignesh Shivan on Instagram. Fans flocked to check her Insta profile if she had decided to hit the unfollow button. While the netizens found out that Vignesh follows his wife on social media, the latter is not.

On the professional front, Nayanthara was last seen in Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. The drama film stirred controversy after a certain section of the audience accused the makers of hurting Hindu sentiments.

Last year, Nayanthara starred in the blockbuster Jawan. The actress impressed the critics and the audience with her power-packed performance in the film that also starred Shah Rukh Khan, Sanya Malhotra and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone made a special appearance in the action thriller.
