Directed by Anand Menen, Vaazha: Biopic Of A Billion Boys is a Malayalam-language coming-of-age comedy-drama that revolves around five friends often labeled as losers by society, as they navigate the challenges of adulthood. Starring Basil Joseph, Siju Sunny, Saaf Bros, Joemon Jyothir, and Jagadish in the lead roles, the film had a theatrical release on 15th August 2024.

The Tamil-language children's drama featured Ponvel M. and Raghul R. in the lead roles. Directed, written and co-produced by Mari Selvaraj, the film chronicled the journey of a twelve-year-old boy named Sivanandhan, along with his mother, sister, and friend, as they navigate various life challenges, with a plantain tree (Vaazhai) being central to their story.

4) Demonte Colony 2

Release Date: 27th September 2024 On Zee5

The sequel to the superhit 2015 horror-comedy, 'Demonte Colony 2' had a grand theatrical release worldwide on 15th August 2024. Directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and starring Arulnithi in double roles, Priya Bhavni among others, the sequel revolved around the story of a group of friends who return to a cursed location, driven by curiosity and the quest to uncover the truth behind the malevolent spirits that reside there.
