Dhanush's Directorial Raayan Release Date Postponed Again: Starring Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Selvaraghavan in lead roles, Dhanush is directing 'Raayan' an action-thriller and is referred to as D 50, which began its pre-production work in January 2023, is filming nonstop and racing towards completion of production.

The movie Raayan is being extensively shot in and around Chennai and is in its last phase of production and post-production formalities is going to hit the screens worldwide on June 13. But, looks like the movie has been postponed again. Raayan marks the second film which is being directed by Dhanush. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the movie has its music by the legendary Oscar award winner AR Rahman.

Two songs from Raayan have been already released and they are earning good feedback from the music lovers and fans. A song titled 'Ghana' was sung by another musician Santhosh Narayanan, under the direction of AR Rahman. The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the smooth production of Raayan. They have also announced the release date but things have changed now.

Raayan Release Date Postponed

Going by the latest buzz from Kollywood, Dhanush's multi-starrer film is set for a postponement at the theatres. From June 13, the makers are now moving it to July. In July, the movie might release alongside Shankar-Kamal Haasan's epic sequel Indian 2. The official date of Raayan's release will be revealed shortly.

In addition, SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan, Aravind Akash, Jayaram, Nandha Durairaj, and Nagarjuna are part of the movie's renowned cast.
