Rajinikanth Health Updates: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was recently hospitalized after he reportedly complained of having severe stomach pain. On Monday evening (September 30), the 'Vettaiyan' actor was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai where he underwent an elective procedure.

According to the bulletin, released by Apollo Hospital, the 73-year-old had a "swelling in the main blood vessel" connecting to his heart and the doctors had to perform a non-surgical procure. This was the reason why the superstar couldn't attend the trailer launch event of his next film 'Vettaiyan' yesterday (October 2).

News of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth getting hospitalized had left his fans concerned. On Tuesday (October 1), the Apollo Hospital - located on Greams Road, Chennai - had shared a press release detailing his medical condition, which mentioned that Rajinikanth had a "swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (aorta), which was treated by a non surgical, transcathether method".

The bulletin read, "Mr Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, on 30th September 2024. He had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (aorta), which was treated by a non surgical, transcathether method. Senior interventional Cardiologist, Dr Sai Satish placed a stent in the aorta completely sealing off the swelling (Endovascular Repair). We would like to let his well-wishers and fans know that the procedure went, as planned. Mr Rajinikanth is stable and is doing well. He should be home in two days."

Rajinikanth Health Update: Actor To Get Discharged On THIS Date

According to reports, superstar Rajinikanth's health is now stable. As per the latest tweet shared by the industry tracker Ramesh Bala, the Thalaivar is likely to get discharged from the hospital tomorrow (October 4).

As soon as he posted this, fans sighed in relief. One of the users took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "A relief news indeed ❤️🙏", while another one tweeted, "Welcome back superstar".

On the work front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in 'Vettaiyan', co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. The film is slated to release worldwide on 10th October 2024.
