Raayan Opening Weekend Collection Worldwide : Written and directed by Dhanush, Raayan is an action thriller with a revenge backdrop. The movie is the second directorial of Dhanush and his 50th film as an actor. After the worldwide release in Tamil and Telugu on July 26, Raayan met with mixed reactions at the box office. Dhanush is winning applause for his command over the crafts but the lack of emotional connection in the film and tight screenplay could've elevated the theatre experience, opined critics.

Muthu is involved in a scuffle with a gangster called Dorai's (Sravanan) goons which leads to grave consequences. Sethuram (SJ Suryah), on the other hand, is a gangster who wants to end Raayan. Raayan Box Office Collection Prediction
Before the revenge drama made its worldwide debut, Dhanush's Raayan was expected to touch Rs 100 Crore at the box office in the first three days which is called the opening weekend. However, due to a bit of mixed reactions going around for the movie, Raayan could only make Rs 75 Crore. In India, the film touched Rs 43 Crore in Tamil and Telugu, reportedly.
