However, Saindhavi recently took to Twitter to address the rumors and criticism, slamming the media for spreading baseless narratives and engaging in character assassination. Additionally, she addressed whether she and GV Prakash are still friends.

Saindhavi Claps Back At Media Amid Divorce With GV Prakash

"It's disheartening to see numerous YouTube videos fabricating stories about the news they've received, especially after we requested privacy. To clarify, our divorce is not due to any external force and randomly assassinating someone's character baselessly is unacceptable." She further added, "This decision was mutually made by both of us for our betterment." Saindhavi further claimed that she and GV Prakash are still friends. She said, "GV Prakash and I have been friends for 24 years since our school days, and we will continue to maintain that friendship moving forward."

The duo, Saindhavi & GV Prakash's relationship started way back in December, 2001. Saindhavi was in 8th standard while GV Prakash was in 10th. Back then, both were good freinds. However, Saindhavi & GV Prakash always had a liking for each other. It was GV Prakash who proposed Saindhavi. On May 13, 2024, Saindhavi broke many people's hearts by announcing the divorce on the internet.

Together, Saindhavi & GV Prakash, wrote on social media, "After much reflection, Saindhavi & I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage. For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other." They added, "We kindly ask the media friends and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition." Both further claimed that growing apart was the best decision for both of them and expected their fans to understand their decision.
