Director Shankar's Daughter Aishwarya Shankar Gets Engaged To An Assistant Director From Kollywood; SEE PICS

Epic filmmaker S Shankar, who is currently helming two prestigious projects- the much-hyped sequel of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, and global star Ram Charan's Game Changer, simultaneously, took a break for a joyous occasion with family. The director's elder daughter Dr Aishwarya Shankar, who is a dermatologist, got engaged recently.

Aishwarya Shankar exchanged engagement rings in a traditional and decorated venue amid families and friends with an assistant director named Tarun Karthikeyan. The event was a private affair but the pictures are now going viral on the internet.Aditi Shankar, Aishwarya Shankar's sister and actress shared a set of beautiful and dreamy pictures from the event where the soon-to-be groom and bride were dressed in their traditional attire, decked with jewelry. The actress also shared some pictures where the decor of the grand event was visible.

Who is Tarun Karthikeyan?

Tarun Karthikeyan is working as an assistant director in Kollywood and he is also a lyricist and a Playback singer. Aishwarya Shankar is now tied to a man belonging to the film industry just like her father. The families are yet to announce the wedding date.

Meanwhile, it is the second marriage for Aishwarya Shankar, who earlier got hitched to a Cricketer, Rohit Damodaran, in 2021. The duo started having issues early on in their marital life and called it quits immediately. They eventually got divorced following the allegations against Rohit Damodaran in a POCSO case. He is also said to have misbehaved with female players in his academy.

Shankar also has a younger daughter Aditi Shankar and a son Arjit Shankar. Aditi Shankar is an actress and has been making her niche in Kollywood by playing female lead characters. She was last seen in Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran. She will be playing the female lead in an upcoming film helmed by Vishnuvardhan opposite Akash Murali.
