Saindhavi posted on Twitter on May 13, 2024 at 10.33 pm, saying, "After much reflection, GV Prakash and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage." She added in her note, "For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving out mutual respect for each other." Saindhavi went on to claim, "We kindly ask the media friends and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition. Acknowledging that we are growing apart, we believe this is the best decision for each other." She eneded her note saying, "You understanding and support means a lot during this difficult time."

On June 27, 2023, Saindhavi uploaded a photo of her wedding day where she posed with GV Prakash while holding their var-malas. Recalling her wedding day, Saindhavi wrote, "Its been a decade since we got married but Just feels like yesterday . Happy 10th wedding anniversary to the love of my life @gvprakash."
