Sorgavaasal Premise

A common man, caught in a corrupt system, finds himself in prison, grappling with a deep dilemma: do prisons truly rehabilitate individuals, or do they drive them further into a life of crime? The title "Sorgavaasal" is inspired by the 1954 film of the same name, written by C. N. Annadurai, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who unveiled the trailer for "Sorgavaasal" alongside Anirudh Ravichander, reworked the script for his upcoming film Kaithi 2 after attending a special screening of "Sorgavaasal," particularly due to its impactful jail sequences.

Sorgavaasal Cast and Crew

The cast of Sorgavaasal boasts a talented ensemble, with RJ Balaji playing Parthi and Selvaraghavan portraying Siga.
