Pooja Hegde Charges A Bomb For Suriya-Karthik Subbaraju's Film Suriya 44: The sultry siren Pooja Hegde, one of the top league actresses of the south Indian film industries is now part of the exciting project featuring Suriya. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie is referred to as 'Suriya 44.' Pooja Hegde is roped in as the film's female lead and is reportedly charging a bomb for the same.

Pooja Hegde is reeling under many disasters in Bollywood, Kollywood, and Tollywood. The A-list actress who once enjoyed a great deal of comfort for ruling the roost in the southern film industries, especially Tamil and Telugu, is now not so much in demand.

After making her Tamil debut with Myssikin's Mask, Pooja Hegde tried her hands at doing Telugu films, where she became super busy and attained star status. She was immediately roped in alongside stars like Allu Arjun, twice with Mahesh Babu, and Jr NTR among others.

Meanwhile, Nelson, who directed 'Beast' with Thalapathy Vijay was the one who brought back Pooja Hegde to the Tamil screen after ten years. The movie failed miserably and the actress delivered a set of back-to-back flops in Radhe Shyam, Acharya, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

At one point, the actress only had Trivikram Srinivas' Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu. Due to several hiccups in shooting schedules, the actress let go of that film as well.

Pooja Hegde Has ONLY Suriya 44 In Hand; Takes High Salary

In the latest buzz coming from Kollywood, we hear that Pooja Hegde did not budge when it came to her remuneration and charged Rs 1 Crore more than her previous salary. The actress is reportedly now taking home about Rs 4 Crore for Suriya 44.

The movie stars Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, and Karunakaran among others in key roles. The recently released first look poster of the movie won massive applause. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the film's entire music and sound. Suriya's 2D Entertainment banner in association with Stone Bench Films is bankrolling the film.
