Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, one of the renowned young Tamil filmmakers, Suirya 44 is the upcoming romantic action film set in a period featuring Suriya as a gangster. The movie is nearing completion and the makers are gearing up to serve a special track treat to the actor's fans.

After Kanguva's disastrous response at the box office, Suriya has directed his mighty talent and attention to this Karthik Subbaraju padam, which is going to be released worldwide in multiple languages during the early summer of 2025.

Suriya 44 was shot across the Andamans, Ooty, Kerala, and Chennai. Actress Shriya Saran was roped in for a special song which finished its production and edit. Reportedly, the song will be out in December.

Shriya, who made a dashing appearance at the ongoing IFFI 2024 event in Goa spoke about her association with Suriya 44. She said that the song would come out sometime in December and is going to be a chartbuster. The song was filmed on a specially erected set in Goa.
