Suriya 45 Update: The much-anticipated Suriya 45 has added another exciting element to its lineup, with Trisha Krishnan signing on as the female lead. According to a report by DT Next, the film, directed by RJ Balaji and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, will reunite Suriya and Trisha after nearly two decades. The duo previously shared the screen in Mounam Pesiyadhe, Aayutha Ezhuthu, and Aaru. Suriya also made a cameo appearance in the Trisha-starrer Manmadhan Ambu.

Trisha is set to join the first schedule of the film's shoot, which is expected to kick off in Coimbatore by late November or early December. With AR Rahman composing the music, fans are already buzzing with excitement about the unique combination of Suriya, RJ Balaji, and Trisha.

Interestingly, reports suggest that the script for Suriya 45 was initially pitched to Vijay for his 69th film. However, with the project not materializing, Suriya stepped into the lead role, delighting his fans and setting the stage for what promises to be a highly engaging film.

This latest update comes as Suriya's recent release, Kanguva, is currently running in theaters and has faced negative reviews. The film is currently available in 3D and IMAX formats.

Meanwhile, Suriya's Suriya 44, a romantic action film directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is in the post-production stage. This project also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, and Prakash Raj.
