Thalaiva Superstar Rajinikanth Embraks On The BIGGEST Pan-India Film Ever With Bollywood Producer Sajid Nadiad

Superstar Rajinikanth is back in the entertainment headlines with a crazy update on one of his upcoming films. The Thalaiva of Kollywood is growing to new heights with each of his upcoming films.

The 73-year-old veteran has been breaking the industry records back-to-back with each of his films that are releasing on a pan-India level. The actor's recent outing, 'Lal Salaam,' written and directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth although couldn't work its magic at the box office, his first collaboration with director Nelson Dilipkumar for Jailer is a total game changer for the superstar, the beloved Thalaiva.

Earlier, the actor worked in several film industries other than Tamil and Telugu including Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, and Kannada, making him a popular face and earning a widespread image that he today enjoys.

Rajinikanth Signs A Project For Sajid Nadiadwala

Sajid Nadiadwala, a Bollywood filmmaker, who was married to the late actress Divya Bharathi before her death, was one of the producers who remade many south-Indian movies in Hindi. He shared a very good rapport with the filmmakers and actors of the Tamil and Telugu industries, just like Boney Kapoor.

Finally, Sajid Nadiadwala, who recently hinted at a possible collaboration with the superstar now officially announced the same. On the social media platforms, Sajid Nadiadwala shared, "It's a true honour to collaborate with the legendary Rajinikanth Sir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together!"

"It's a monumental collaboration with the iconic Superstar Rajinikanth. The prospect of these two titans coming together undoubtedly ignites anticipation for something truly extraordinary, (sic)" wrote the production house.

Reportedly, the movie is going to be the biggest pan-India film ever made to date. More details are, however, awaited.

Rajinikanth's Work Front

The veteran is now shooting for a film titled Vettaiyan, referred to as Thalaivar 170, written and directed by T.J. Gnanavel. Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions is funding this actioner which features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier among other highly talented actors. Anirudh Ravichander is on board for this film's music and score.

Rajinikanth also will work with the maverick filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalaivar 171. The movie is in the pre-production stage and will go on floors shortly. This movie is expected to feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Ranveer Singh, and Sivakarthikeyan in cameos. However, there is no official confirmation as yet.
