Thalapathy 69: Vijay To Romance Keerthy Suresh Again? Thalapathy 69 is the last film of the highly-celebrated Tamil superstar Vijay. Fondly called Thalapathy, the actor, who is now working on Venkat Prabhu's directorial 'GOAT' aka The Greatest Of All Time, is going to do another film, which is dubbed as his last before he quits acting to actively take part in the Tamil Nadu state politics.

Thalapathy's last film, referred to as 'Thalapthy 69' is going to be helmed by the producer of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan's 'RRR' maker, DVV Danayya, under his banner DVV Entertainments. He is known for making big-budgeted films with ensemble casts, that have a pan-India appeal. Thalapathy 69 will hit the screens for Pongal next year, if things work according to the plans.

Keerthy Suresh & Vijay's Previous Films

The duo has worked together in Bairavaa which was released in 2017 and Sarkar in 2018. Their collaboration for the third time has piqued so much interest among the film buffs and the actress's fans. If the buzz is to be believed, Keerthy Suresh is expected to sign the dotted line for Thalapathy 69.

Who Will Direct Vijay In Thalapathy 69?

As much as every small detail about Vijay and his last film Thalapathy 69 is entertaining the fans and movie buffs, there is no clarity on who will come on board to helm this prestigious project. There are so many names doing the rounds like Trivikram Srinivas (Tollywood), Atlee, Vetrimaaran, S Shankar, H Vinoth, and Nelson Dilip Kumar among other directors, who are in talks with the filmmakers. However, there is no official confirmation about who will direct Thalapathy 69. The makers are expected to make official announcements about the cast and crew shortly.

Vijay's Record Remuneration For Thalapathy 69

The actor, on the other hand, is now set to take a record remuneration for what is supposedly his last film before he fully joins politics. The actor is going to take home the highest remuneration so far, which is said to be about Rs 250 Crore. This remuneration makes him the highest-paid actor in the country if there is truth to it.

Keerthy Suresh's Work Front
The actress's upcoming films include Raghuthatha, in which she is playing the role of Kayalvizhi. She is playing Rita in the movie 'Revolver Rita,' and also is working on the movie titled 'Kannivedi.' She was signed for a role in a Hindi film titled 'Baby John.' All these four projects are currently on the sets in the production phase.
