Thalapathy 69 Director, Female Lead, & Shooting Updates: Thalapathy Vijay's fans are gushing over the upcoming trailer announcement and release of his latest film 'The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T), written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, there is another exhilarating news for them to rejoice. Vijay's last film, his 69th, referred to as 'Thalapathy 69' is back in the headlines with an interesting update.

Vijay, who wants to focus on his political career and public service from now on, began his work by floating a party called 'Tamilaga Vettri Kazagam.' The actor wants to contest in the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu and is exercising the party around. In addition to announcing Thalapathy 69 as his last film, Vijay is also ensuring that he gives a befitting film to his fans to enjoy before retirement.

Thalapathy 69 is going to be bankrolled on a whopping budget and a massive scale by KVN Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is on board for composing the film's entire background score and music while Vinoth will be directing it. 'Premalu' fame Mamitha Baiju will be seen playing a key role.

At first, DVV Danayya of the 'RRR' movie, who produced the country's first Oscar Award-winning film was said to have locked the actor for his spectacular last film. However, due to several reasons, they backed off.

For his last film as a lead actor, Thalapathy Vijay is taking home a fat paycheque for Thalapathy 69. He is being given Rs 200 Crore as remuneration if the reports are true.

Samantha To Romance Vijay Once Again

If the ongoing buzz is to be believed, Samantha will once again star opposite Thalapathy Vijay in this action entertainer to be helmed by H Vinoth. The movie will mark the fourth collaboration of Samantha and Vijay after Kaththi (2014), Theri (2016), and Mersal (2017).
