Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Today (Early Updates): Megastar Rajinikanth's latest outing 'Vettaiyan' has been having an underwhelming run at the box office. Helmed by T.J. Gnanavel, the Tamil-language action-thriller marks Amitabh Bachchan's debut in the Tamil cinema. Produced by Lyca Productions, the biggie also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati in important roles. Amid much buzz, Vettaiyan hit cinemas on 10th October 2024 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages.

Headlined by Rajinikanth, Vettaiyan opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film managed to collect Rs 31.7 cr (including all four languages) on the first day of its release. During its 2 week of theatrical run, the film not only failed to surpass its opening day numbers but also witnessed dip in numbers.

As per Sacnilk, the film minted around Rs 118.95 cr in its 1st week. According to Sacnilk, Vettaiyan numbers dropped the lowest on 2nd Tuesday and managed to rake in approximately Rs 1.8 cr, taking the total nett estimated collection to rs 138.35 cr in 13 days.

Rajinikanth-Big B starrer Vettaiyan has been struggling to even touch the Rs 140-cr mark at the box office. As the film is set to complete its 2nd week of theatrical run today, it is expected that the film might hit the the milestone on day 14.

According to the latest Sacnilk update, the movie has managed to earn Rs 1.02 cr today (2nd Wednesday, Oct 23) till 6:30 pm IST. To note, Vettaiyan needs to collect approximately Rs 1.65 cr today to cross Rs 140 cr by the end of 2nd week.
