Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Prediction Day 6: Superstar Rajinikanth's latest action drama titled Vettaiyan, was written and directed by T.J. Gnanavel. The highly-anticipated film was released to a great buzz on October 10 for the Dussehra festival weekend all over the world in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Vettaiyan is a special film as the movie stars incredible talent in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Ran Daggubati among several notable actors. The movie earned positive word-of-mouth and offers a non-boring theatrical experience. However, the box office figures are not as great as Rajinikanth's previous hit, Jailer.

Vettaiyan Synopsis

Athiyan (Rajinikanth) is a strict cop who goes beyond the law to safeguard justice. He is known as an encounter specialist. He becomes interested in a school teacher Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan) who also cannot stand injustice and tries to expose a dangerous scam involving students. Sharanya gets brutally killed and the wrong person is encountered by Athiyan. How Athiyan finds out the truth and reason behind Sharanya's death is the crux of Vettaiyan.

Vettaiyan opened on a massive note all over Tamil Nadu and other parts of the world but the movie didn't have a proper pre-release buzz among the two Telugu states. Surprisingly, the superstar's film saw a massive dip of over 76% after the weekend on its fifth day. The numbers are expected to drop on the sixth day as well.
