Vettaiyan Tentative OTT Release Date, Platform, & Time: Superstar Rajinikanth's collaboration with filmmaker T.J. Gnanavel sparked excitement among fans and Kollywood fanatics. Titled Vettaiyan, the movie talks about the commercialization of education and corrupt practices. Vettaiyan was released worldwide on October 10 on the occasion of the Dussehra festival season to critical acclaim. The movie earned over Rs 250 Crore at the worldwide box office from its Tamil and Telugu versions. In addition, the movie is also running in the theatres currently.

Vettaiyan Synopsis
Athiyan (Rajinikanth) is a strict cop who goes beyond the law to safeguard justice. He is known as an encounter specialist. He becomes interested in a school teacher Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan) who also cannot stand injustice and tries to expose a dangerous scam involving students. Sharanya gets brutally killed and Athiyan encounters the wrong person. How Athiyan finds out the truth and reason behind Sharanya's death is the crux of Vettaiyan.

Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan movie's digital streaming rights for multiple languages are secured for a decent sum by Amazon Prime Video. The movie is expected to make its much-awaited OTT debut on November 7. An official confirmation is still awaited.

The movie stars Rajinikanth as SP Ajith IPS, Amitabh Bachchan as Sathyadev (voice dubbed by Prakash Raj), Fahadh Faasil as Patrick, Rana Daggubati as Natraj, Manju Warrier as Thara, Ritika Singh as ASI Roopa, Dushara Vijayan as Saranya, Rohini as Nazeema, Rao Ramesh as DGP D. Shrinivas, Ramesh Thilak, Kishore as SP Harish Kumar, Rakshan, G.M. Sundar, Sabumon Abdusamad, Abhirami as Swetha, and Shaji Chen as Police Commissioner. Anirudh Ravichander appeared as himself in a cameo in the super hit song 'Manasilaayo.'
