Vettaiyan Trailer Release Time: Rajinikanth is one of the biggest Tamil stars in India and who has been entertaining the audience for decades now. After winning hearts with his extended cameo in Lal Salaam earlier this year, he is now making headlines with his upcoming release of the year and the fans can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Vettaiyan which is an action drama and is helmed by T. J. Gnanavel and is produced by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions.

Interestingly, Vettaiyan also features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead and marks the megastar's Tamil debut. Also starring Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Abhirami in key roles, Vettaiyan features Rajinikanth in the role of SP Ajith IPS and marks his 170th film in the lead actor. As fans have been eagerly waiting for Vettaiyan trailer, there have been reports about the trailer getting postponed after Rajinikanth got hospitalised. However, now we have an update in the matter.

Vettaiyan Trailer Release Time: Where To Watch Vettaiyan Trailer

According to a tweet shared by Ramesh Bala, Vettaiyan trailer is set to release today (October 2) and will be out at 5 PM. It is reported that Vettaiyan trailer will be out on YouTube and will also premiere on SunTV simultaneously. To note, Vettaiyan will be hitting the screens on October 10 and will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Amitabh Bachchan & Rajinikanth Reunite After 33 Years

Interestingly, as Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing a key role in Vettaiyan, the movie marks his reunion with Rajinikanth after 33 years. They had last shared the screen in the 1991 release Hum wherein they played the role of step brothers.

Rajinikanth Health Update

To note, Rajinikanth, who was recently hospitalised after complaining of stomach pain, is said to be stable now and will be discharged soon. In an official statement, the hospital stated, "Mr Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, on 30th September 2024. He had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (Aorta), which was treated by a non-surgical, transcatheter method. Senior Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish placed a stent in the aorta completely sealing off the swelling (Endovascular Repair). We would like to let his well-wishers and fans know that the procedure went as planned. Mr. Rajinikanth is stable and is doing well. He should be home in two days"
