Superstar Rajinikanth Vs. Suriya For Diwali: With Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD, the season for the pan-India, big-budget, and star-studded films has begun in India. After a dry summer at the box office, several exciting films starting from Thangalaan to Pushpa 2, Kanguva to Vettaiyan, Vidaa Muyarchi and Devara, the second half of 2024 is going to be a feast for the entertainment and south-Indian film lovers.

But, this Diwali, the Kollywood box office is going to witness the clash of the biggest heroes and bigger films.

According to the latest updates that are coming from Kollywood, T.J. Gnanavel's directorial Vettaiyan starring superstar Rajinikanth is also coming to the audiences and fans on October 10. Suriya's Kanguva already sealed the date and announced it officially before Vettaiyan entered the Diwali race.

The movie stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Kishore, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Shaji Chen, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, and G.M. Sundar among others played key roles.

The movie is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the Lyca Productions banner. S.R. Kathir is cranking the camera and Philomin Raj is going to work as the Editor. Anirudh Ravichander is going to compose the film's music and score.

Kanguva Premise
Kanguva is the story of a warrior who lived in 1678 and died due to a disease. In today's world, a girl is actively researching the disease that killed the warrior of the 16th century.

This Suriya film stars Bollywood actor Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravi Kumar, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and BS Avinash among other in pivotal characters.
