Vijay's The GOAT OTT Runtime: Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, was released amid sky-high expectations in Tamil and Telugu on September 5 worldwide. The movie which stars several notable actors, including Sneha, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, and Meenakshi Chaudhary among interesting cameos failed to live up to the expectations, according to the reviews from fans and critics.

GOAT Synopsis

Gandhi (Vijay) is a successful member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS) and is known for his terrorist mission in Kenya, under the leadership of Menon (Mohan). While in Bangkok, Gandhi finds out that his son Jeevan (Vijay) is dead and years later is shocked to see Jeevan alive and kicking in Russia. After they come home, unusual events start forcing Gandhi to uncover the truth behind Jeevan's disappearance and reappearance.

The world's leading OTT giant, Netflix, shelled out a considerable amount on acquiring the post-theatrical digital streaming rights of Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) movie. The movie will be streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam as per the agreement. The latest buzz reveals that the movie will make its OTT debut on the digital streaming platform on September 20, reportedly. An official announcement is, however, yet to be made regarding The GOAT movie's OTT release date.

The GOAT OTT Runtime To Include Director's Cut

According to director Venkat Prabhu, the original runtime, the director's cut for Thalapathy Vijay's The GOAT movie is almost 3 hours and 40 minutes, which is a very big time. He dropped a hint that the extended version of the movie might be released for the OTT version alongside the theatrical cut. Official information is awaited as the producer, Archana Kalapathi is in favour of the same.
