Nayanthara & Dhanush Attend A Wedding After Former's Open Letter: Nayanthara, who made headlines a couple of days ago by opnely slamming actor-filmmaker Dhanush regarding an NOC for her wedding documentary on Netflix, attended a wedding in Chennai on November 21. As she and her husband Vignesh Shivan attended the event dressed in their traditional best, they also came face-to-face with Dhanush.

In a recent statement issued by Nayanthara, the actress directly mentioned Dhanush as someone who cannot stand people being happy and becoming popular. She sought permission from his Wunderbar Films production house which bankrolled her remarkable movie 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.' The movie which won sincere applause and love from film buffs earned a hit talk and also was a catalyst in Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's love story.

On the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, the duo started seeing each other with Nayanthara reportedly making the first move. Dhanush, who was producing the movie was upset about the delay in shooting schedules and the trips they allegedly went on, prompting a hike in the budget due to reasons. As per the reports, Dhanush wanted to make NRD on a budget of Rs 6 Crore but ended up spending Rs 10 Crore more. As a producer, he did not benefit from the film. Also, he expressed dissatisfaction about Nayanthara's performance in the film, which the actress openly spoke about during the Filmfare Awards 2016.

When the couple sought a NOC from Dhanush towards usage of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan movie's song, pictures, and content, he not only stayed unperturbed for two years but also sued them for Rs 10 Crore for including a 3-second clip in the trailer of the couple's wedding documentary. Enraged Nayanthara resorted to bringing the topic to public attention. However, the documentary has more than 30 seconds of clippings from the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. It is to be seen what both parties will deal with, at the Courts.
